Tips on Sleep Tight

            For some of you, having insomnia is one of the most annoying things in life. In fact, you mostly struggle to sleep by many ways until the midnight comes or even more. Consequently, if it continuously happens and becomes your daily routines, you may get bad effects in doing activities, such as feeling lazy, having no energy, or others worse. However, to have a sleep tight is not difficult as its thought if you know the strategies to do it.
            Before going to sleep, you may begin by considering your bedroom condition. First, you have to ensure that your room has been already clean because sometimes, having dust or even such kind of small animals (e.g. ant) on the bed make you restless. Second, keeping furniture neat and tidy in your bedroom will make pleasant to eyes. Third, you may spray the room with your favorite air freshener—but Lavender is recommended—in order to have a good circumstance inside. Consequently, at least you will have felt comfortable before bed.
            After that, listening to the instrumental music may be one of the best choice to have a sleep tight. According to Xepat (2015), listening to instrumental music while sleeping can make your brain relax since its nerves are stretched. In addition, he recommends two kinds of instrumental music, piano and acoustic, because the sounds are calm and soft. However, it does not always work for all people because it depends on what kind of music they like.
            The last thing you may do is drinking a glass of warm milk. Dairy products are rich in the amino acid tryptophan, which helps in the production of the sleep inducing brain chemicals, serotonin and melatonin (Hunter: 2013). As a result, when you wake up, fresh feeling will be got for doing activities in the following day. However, you have to ensure that the milk you drink is pure since some have “water” as the main substance. On the other words, you will not get the effect maximally even if you have consumed it.
            Eventually, having insomnia can be covered by many strategies. As a result, you will know what to do before bed. However, every single people have their own way to have a sleep tight. Therefore, if you have any difference ideas, would you like to share it?
